For the first time in its 1,500 year history, the Sistine Chapel Choir (known affectionately as the 'Pope's Choir'), head to the US for a month-long tour that is sure to delight fans of choral music across the country.
Tracing back its origins to the seventh century, the group, made up of 20 professional singers and 35 boys from all over Europe, has an important cultural legacy that marks them as one of the world's most iconic choirs.
In 2015, they made history by releasing their first album, Cantante Domino - recorded live in the Sistine Chapel in an unprecedented event for the venue. Don't miss their incredible and moving sound when they head to you this July.
Performance date: 1 January 1970
