Celebrating 20 years of Puff Daddy and his stable of stars!
Yes, we can't quite believe it either. Twenty years has passed since Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combes set up Bad Boy Records following an unceremonious firing from another studio. Working with the now late rapper Notorious B.I.G, Bad Boy went head to head with LA-based Death Row Records, causing a coast-to-coast tension between the two that ultimately saw Puff's aspirational records celebrating wealth, money and bling triumph commercially over the more nihilistic Death Row. However, the rivalry and gang-related accusations on both sides have led some to believe was the underlying cause of the as yet unsolved shootings of Biggie and Death Row's TuPac.
Putting aside differences in the early Noughties, the Bad Boy label grew exponentially, to include the joint line-up for this tour; Puff Daddy, L'il Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, Mario Winans,
Total, Carl Thomas, 112, The Lox and French Montana. This giant co-headline tour hits American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL, Closed September 10, 2016.
