The German electronic pioneers are taking their critically acclaimed 3-D tour back on the road in 2020, as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. with A Kraftwerk gig requires suspension of disbelief; it's hard to guess that the four-piece are in fact creating the music live on stage as you watch, as they use minimal movements on their keyboards. For new initiates, what is the appeal of a Kraftwerk concert? Well, for one thing, the alternately peppy and psychedelic music is crystal clear as it bounces around the auditorium to create an uplifting atmosphere. Be sure to wear your 3-D glasses for the outlandish visual projection. You'll be bombarded with a range of visuals including musical notation, advertising, scientific formulae, architectural drawing, computer modeling, typography, and Bauhaus color theory, which fly around your head for a truly multi-sensory experience.
